This is a 1803 DRAPED BUST HALF DIME, LG 8 – PCGS XF DETAILS, RIM DAMAGE, PRETTY TYPE COIN. This exact coin sold in an Heritage auction in May of 2022, graded AU Details, for $4,320. Our customer put it in a ungraded Type Set, and the coin was perfect for that. We had it reholdered for authentication and disclosure purposes. In our opinion, the piece is fully AU, with beautiful rainbow colored surfaces and a pleasing overall appearance.
