This is a 1873-S ARROWS LIBERTY SEATED DIME NGC MS-65, PRETTY & ORIGINAL GEM, POP 2/1 RARE. An amazing example of the scarce and popular 1873-1874 Arrows type. These are scarce in Mint State condition, and downright rare as you approach Gem status. The coin is has a population of just 2 in MS-65 with just 1 finer according to the census. The last NGC MS-65 example sold in auction in 2010, and a PCGS gem has not auctioned since 2011. So, these obviously don’t come to market very often. Well struck and 100% original, this example has ample cartwheel luster rotating beneath pleasing multicolored surfaces. The epitome of fresh silver.
