Description
This is a 1876 $1 GOLD DOLLAR – PCGS PR-64 CAM, ORIGINAL MINTAGE OF 45, PREMIUM QUALITY! RARE! CAC APPROVED!. A super rare Centennial Date, with only 45 minted. According to PCGS only about 26 coins are believed to have survived. Really neat as a U.S. Centennial Date. If this were a $10 or a $20 Gold Coin, we would easily be talking about $50,000 to $100,000 or more. Although small gold coins aren’t quite as sought after as large coins, this seems like such outstanding value for the rarity and centennial date.
The coin itself has fresh lustrous skin, with deep mirrors and strong cameo contrast. No major marks detract from the piece, and only some light wispy lines consistent for the grade (or conservative grade) are noted for accuracy. A great value! Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
