Every one of these models was from a collection or old store stock. With that said, this particular model is a DINKY 164 VAUXHALL CRESTA SALOON, MINT MODEL W/ VG+ BOX! This version features a FRESH AND BRIGHT GREY AND RED PAINT CHASSIS, INCORRECT COLOR DOT AND UNUSUAL COLOR! At first glance, it appears to be some type of very rare color variant. The red over grey coloration would be, as far as we can tell, unique. But, on closer examination, the red paint has been applied over the original green paint. The kicker is that it appears to be a factory paint job, and the shade of red is correct for the model. Was this some type of experiment at the factory or a really well done after-market job? The color dot on the box clearly indicates that this model started it’s life as a grey/green version, and the underlying paint on the model is clearly green. We are selling this under the premise that it is an aftermarket paint job, but the outside possibility exists that there could be another explanation. The condition overall is MINT WITH NO SIGN OF PLAYWEAR WHATSOEVER. The matching box is PRETTY, BRIGHT AND CRISP. Condition of the box is VG+, WEAR AROUND THE EDGES AND SMALL SIGNS OF FATIGUE.
