THIS COLLECTION WHICH WAS PRIMARILY ASSEMBLED BETWEEN THE 1950s-1970s CONTAINS OVER 2500 USED AND MINT STAMPS HINGED TO 2-SIDED SCOTT ALBUM PAGES. IT BEGINS WITH PERU, WHICH CONTAINS EARLIER MATERIAL AND IS ABOUT 50% COMPLETE. NEXT IS PHILIPPINES, WHICH CONTAINS MUCH EARLY MATERIAL AND IS ABOUT 75-80% COMPLETE. THE STRENGTH OF THIS ALBUM, FROM A COMPLETENESS ASPECT, IS POLAND, WHICH ALSO IS THE NEXT COUNTRY ALPHABETICALLY SEQUENCED. IN ALL, ABOUT 50% OF THE ALBUM IS COMPRISED OF POLAND (156 PAGES). POLAND ALSO APPEARS TO BE 90% COMPLETE WITH AN ESTIMATED 1500+ STAMPS (WHICH IS PROBABLY A CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE). POLAND ALSO IS STRONG IN BACK-OF-THE-BOOK, INCLUDING OCCUPIED POLAND AND SEMI-POSTAL. PORTUGAL IS THE LAST AND FINAL COUNTRY IN THIS ALBUM, AND LIKE POLAND, COMPRISES MANY PAGES OF STAMPS WITH A LARGE DEGREE OF COMPLETENESS. THE OWNER’S PURPORTED CATALOG VALUE IS $15412, ALTHOUGH THIS IS UNVERIFIED. JUST PERUSING THE ALBUM, AND THE QUANTITY OF STAMPS WITHIN, IT CERTAINLY WOULD NOT SURPRISE US IF THE TRUE CATALOG VALUE SURPASSED THIS.
