Description
This is a 1343-54 VENICE ITALY GOLD DUCAT, ANDREA DANDOLO – NGC XF DETAILS DAMAGE, FR-1221! Over 3.5 Grams of pure gold. Depicts St. Mark standing and presenting a staff with banner to Doge. Reverse depicts a standing Jesus Christ within stars. Despite the designation, this early Italian Gold Ducat faces up nicely and, to be honest, we aren’t quite sure where exactly the damage is, given the rough hammered style of these planchets, as they are made. Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
