Description
This is a 1793 CHAIN CENT, AMERICA – PCGS VF DETAILS, ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE, STRONG DETAILS! A classic American coin from the first year of the new United States Mint. Although PCGS accurately notates Environmental Damage due to the evenly porous nature of the brown surfaces, the details on this example are bold. A strong date, strong LIBERTY, and a fully detailed reverse make this coin attractive. Upon close examination, Liberty’s head shows hair detail, as well as the full detail of the eye. Although the coin has the aforementioned surfaces issues, the porosity is even and the rims are free of distractions. A problem-free Very Fine will usually run $30,000-$40,000 in the present market, so this one provides a tremendous amound of detail for a fraction of the price. Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
