From an original mintage of just 33,875 examples, only about 350 are known in all grades. This specimen, truly Mint State and certified MS-62, displays richly lustrous medium-gold surfaces with original, unmolested skin. The strike is crisp and even, with sharp hair, crisp stars and fully defined reverse feathers. Well-cared for, this Half-Eagle shows no rim bruises, no major contact marks, adjustment marks or other distractions.
