This is a 1821 CORONET HEAD LARGE CENT – PCGS AU-55, PQ++, OLD GREEN HOLDER, CAC APPROVED! A lovely, original example of this tough date. Beautifully variegated rich brown surfaces with close to no wear and fields that still show original mint reflectivity under light. So many of these are simply awful, so finding this premium example was a real treat! Only 2 CAC examples are graded at this level, and the last auction appearance for a 55 CAC was over 12 year ago!
