This is a 1861 $10 CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA T-24, PMG VF-25, REV STAR IMPRINT-SCARCE. PMG NOTES “MINOR RUST” WHICH AMOUNTS TO ONE PIN-PRICK SPOT MEASURING LESS THAN 1/8″. THIS NOTE ALSO HAS A STAR IN A CIRCLE IMPRINT ON THE REVERSE, WHCIH HAS BEEN OBSERVED ON OTHER CSA NOTES, BUT ITS PURPOSE HAS NEVER REALLY EXPLAINED.
