This issue saw extensive circulation, making this well-struck XF-45 with traces of luster desirable. Add in some attractive medium gold/red coloration and a lack of major marks, and this is a desirable piece! This date is considered rarer than the 1871, 72, 74, 76 and 77 Carson City $5s, and comparable to the elusive 1873-CC.
