This is a 2021 TY 1 AMERICAN SILVER EAGLE 1 OZ PCGS MS-70 AT DUSK AT DAWN 339 TO LAST COIN! This modern rarity was purchased by a customer of ours when these were released in 2021. After striking the same design Silver Eagle for 35 years, in the 36th year, the reverse design for the American Silver Eagle was changed. The final 500 coins struck of the original Type 1 Reverse American Silver Eagles were set aside by the United States Mint and designated with the At Dusk & At Dawn label. Each of the final 500 coins were individually numbered on the holder (this one being #339) and came with a custom U.S. Mint issued booklet and a letter from then-U.S. Mint director Ventris C. Gibson. These seem to be nearly impossible to find in perfect PCGS MS-70! Most only grade MS-69 and the PCGS Population Report shows just 35 in MS-70 with this At Dusk & At Dawn Label!
