Description
This is a 1793 LIBERTY CAP LARGE CENT, S-14 – PCGS GENUINE, VG DETAIL, ENV DAMAGE, RARE! One of the rarest and most desired U.S. Large Cent major types with under 500 believed to exist. A transitional piece of sorts, these are usually low grade and problematic. The present example exhibits the obverse die crack that the S-14 variety is known for. Although this example has moderately porous surfaces, a full date and otherwise full, readable details make this example better than most. Besides the porosity, there are no other major marks, distractions or damage. The color is actually fairly pleasing as well. An affordable example of this rarity! Our commitment is to provide you with quality coins and collectibles at the best possible prices. This piece is no exception. Please note, the coin and collectibles markets do fluctuate, and prices occasionally will change. In this rare circumstance, we will contact you first to verify your order.
