This is a 1804 DRAPED BUST DIME, 13 STAR REVERSE – PCGS GENUINE SCRATCH-F DETAIL, RARE! A classic rarity in the early dime series, only 8,265 coins were produced. This is a great addition to any advanced collection that desires the same year and design of, but can’t afford, the legendary 1804 Draped Bust Dollar. Only about 75 total examples are estimated to survive, and this piece, despite the Scratch notation, is finer than most. This coin borders on Very Fine quality, has a pleasing, even strike, and decent medium grey color. One mark on the neck prevents this one from being a $20,000 or better coin.
